Happy Summer! Officially...This June newsletter arrives to you as July approaches! I was a bit occupied with my daughter's high school graduation and all that comes with that! The summer and typical seasonality in the real estate market is upon us. The interest rate environment remains essentially the same, though supply (limited) and demand (reasonable) keeps the real estate market largely moving forward in both SF and Marin. Some stats and details below in both markets...with some exciting new listings coming up soon and notes about why Sausalito has so few children and the potential of Jackson Square as the new tech and business hub in SF!

Children are scarce in this Bay Area city. Here’s why that matters

Sausalito isn’t getting any younger. Roughly 9% of the city’s residents were under age 18 in 2020, according to decennial census data. That makes Sausalito one of the handful of communities in California with at least 5,000 people where less than 1 in 10 residents is a child.
